Well, it's been a very social weekend indeed. Saturday morning I woke up at my customary ungodly hour. I spent some time at the lab checking email before I cycled around to Burt St. With the pressures of studying, I hadn't been there in quite some time, so it was good to catch up again with Bridget, Heather and Jules. We chatted away over coffee, and so I got to catch up with all their happenings. I cycled into town to check out prices on airline tickets, and then about 2 pm, Bridget and I drove around to Red's to say hello. I got to show off the thesis, and everybody acted dutifully impressed. We chatted at Red's for a few hours and the Bridget dropped me off home where I snoozed for several hours and then went on a minor cleaning binge.
Today, I had brunch with Peta (B) at 10:30 at Tilley's. I hadn't been there in many months, and I doubt I will again soon. We chatted away over breakfast, and it was very nice. I cycled home and called Emma who gave me a lift to the monthly SCA tourney. We all sat around on the grass comparing our pasty legs while other people fought. It was a hot day, and thankfully I remembered my hat and plenty of sunscreen. Stuart gave me a lift down to Woden and I walked over to Phillip to see Susan and Jules. We had quite a nice time catching up on all the news, and then we went out for frozen yogurt before going back to their place to watch "Daria". It's Jules's birthday soon (4th November), so I need to remember that. Susan gave me a lift home, and thanks to the daylight savings, the sun was setting at about 8 pm. I have to remember to courier the original documents back to Miami, book my airline ticket and prepare this talk on alchemy for Wednesday.
