Today as usual will be busy, I have to look for accommodation to see me through to Thursday, book a plane ticket to Sydney, have lunch with the research group, afternoon coffee with Tim and then meet up in the evening with Rachel and Peta again. Tomorrow won't be a whole lot more relaxing because I have a doctors appointment in the morning and then Graduation in the afternoon, followed by a night out with Susan.
Saturday was fun, I spent the morning in Civic looking around and organizing when to see people, at 2 pm Heather picked me up as part of the slightly changed plan to go ten-pin bowling. Susan, Jules, Bridget and eventually Lloyd were all there which was a lot of fun and we had a great time, afterwards we went to Ainslie shops for a drink and then after some mild confusion I arrived at S&J's new place which was very cool. We watched some anime (Hand Maid May) and then Susan went off to a work party and so Jules and I lounged around watching "Empire Strikes Back" and falling asleep, I made it back to Toad around midnight.
Sunday was equally busy if not more so. I walked over to Burt St for a brunch of pancakes, and then at 11 am I walked a few blocks down the street to Peta's new apartment for bacon and eggs with her and Rachel. We chatted for about 2 hours and then after I made it back to Toad (again), Emma gave me a lift down south to where DX was meeting.
Emma was well, she was "Caitlin free" for the day and in good spirits, the DX get together was going to be at Andrews place because Adam was out of town. Ruth, Andrew and Snorrie were there when we arrived, with Chrissy, Jola and Robbie arriving later. We were eating some very nice potato pie and sipping on a range of liquers of which my favourite was the blackberry, rather suprisingly I wasn't completely smashed. We spent the afternoon lazing around talking and listening to music before Emma drove Ruth and I home.
