Trance emotion.

It's been the usual kind of whirlwind week, and it's now almost Friday. Monday was very exhausting, I was chasing people down and harassing them simply because if I don't keep at them, nothing will get done. I also had a group meeting, the Queer group meeting and my evening class also. Tuesday by comparison was fairly laid back and I was able to stop thinking about the big project we're on and just work on getting a regular paper out the door. My big boss dropped in after being out of town for a week, so we had a lot of stuff to catch up on.

I went for a run; my first in a week, on Tuesday evening which pretty much wiped me out for the rest of the night. Wednesday nothing too exciting happened except that I had lunch with Tanya and the freshman student came into work that afternoon. That evening our Business Management group had a meeting to organize this talk we have to give on Monday and we got a lot done on that thankfully. After that was the evening class and I was happy to get home. Today started off quietly enough, but Thursdays are always fairly nutty. The senior undergraduates came in after lunch to do their research and I had to split my time between a meeting and getting ready for my economics class. On a positive note however I did win a voucher for a free pizza by being the first to successfully complete last weeks crossword. Doing the crossword is definitely a brainteaser, and the more of them you do, the more you think like a crossword puzzle designer, so it's somewhat circular.
At the materials meeting we got our non-disclosure agreement (NDA) but still no word if or when the money (if any) would come through. I guess I should return to my original cynical position.
Tomorrow will hopefully be fairly quiet, and then after work I'll probably go and see Doug and Tiffany who I haven't seen all week. Sunday night there might be some people meeting for coffee which would be a nice little social get together.

In general news I've finally got some postcards together to send out. It hasn't snowed again but the temperature is staying in the 50's or lower during the day. The rugby world cup is moving along back home in Australia, and although I wish we would win I think it will come down to the Kiwi's or the Poms. An email from Red informed me that the ABC is rebroadcasting all the episodes of Dr Who from #1 onwards which I am terribly pissed I can't get to see. For programming like that I'd almost be tempted to get a TV.
