Black collar song

I'm sitting at home just chilling and rocking out to some music. Things have been very quiet today as nobody has been around, Judy and Ryan were about the last two people I knew who were in town, but I think they have gone up to Havre for a wedding tomorrow. That leaves me pretty much by myself, which is fine. Yesterday was hard and I cried as I walked to work as I realized how alone I was. Today I'm feeling better, I sent an email to my Mum and because she now is back online she was able to let me know she cared.
I may not see much of people when they eventually do return anyway, since finals week is only a fortnight away. I have some of my final assignments here with me, but it's only the Communications class, so I'm not particularly inspired to work on them all that much. The next queer dance is coming up in about 2 weeks, it's on the Saturday right before finals week, so although I hope it will be a success, I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers. Having dressed rather boringly to the last two dances, I think I'll definitely be breaking out the PVC for this one. I got my “Dead tech” corset from Gallery Serpentine a few weeks back (not in time for Halloween alas) and I did some online shopping at Hot Topic where I found a pretty kick ass PVC coat. I'll probably be raising a few eyebrows, but oh well…
Nothing else has really been happening, I have meetings on Thursday and Friday regrading our proprietary stuff which will be interesting. I guess we should be careful about accepting industry money, because then they expect you to produce something.
Hey Rachel. If you're reading this, I'll try to email you back when I can.
