Hmmm… and to think it's only –18C outside.

And addendum to last nights long entry. Thank heavens for having a diary. Humans forget unhappiness thankfully, and without my diary I wouldn't remember how much I wanted to be who I am today.

Anyway, on a more prosaic note, today was quite busy. I woke up about 8:30 am and was in the lab by about 9:30 am. This is good because my body clock was all out of whack after getting back into town. I paid my rent, booked a new therapy appointment, changed my address at the post office and then also at the bank and with the phone company. To finish off a busy morning I got a professional web page set up for putting on my resume, and also read through the next paper. I also booked the US legs of my trip to and from surgery. The afternoon was a little more sedate and I didn't get as much done. It was snowing most of the day and bitterly cold. I spent too much money on food, so I have to watch things there. When the weather is so miserable, it's easy to worry about freezing one's arse off walking to get something to eat.

I haven't heard much of anything from my bosses, but maybe I might see my big boss tomorrow at the presentation which is at 2pm. My other boss is in Puerto Rico still, and I receive a very occasional email from him. My big boss I have not seen since before Xmas, and have heard nothing except a one sentence email.
