Well, it's almost time for bed, but first a recap.

The weekend was very quiet, Friday night I stayed at home and just recovered from the week. Bonnie was heading off to a junket *cough* sorry, I mean a conference in San Diego and so we talked briefly when she had missed her flight. I had a nice long talk with my Mum which was nice.

Saturday was quiet, and around midday I dropped by to say hello to Katie. She was extremely hungover, and had to throw up not long after I arrived. I excused myself and went down to Main Street to get some keys cut and pick up a universal power adapter. After that I spent the rest of the day at the lab trying to get my presentations in some sort of order.
In the evening I dropped by to say hello to Ryan and Brandon, and then cycled down to the video store where I picked up “Attack of the Clones”, “Aliens” and “2001: A Space Odyssey” on DVD, and then grabbed some groceries. After that I talked to Bonnie on the way home and later that night watched the first two movies. Bonnie called after getting back from her night out on the town.

Sunday was a lazy day to begin with, but in the end I spent much of the day at the lab. I didn't get very much done, but I think I made some progress. In the evening I watched “2001”, and then went back to the lab. I talked to Judy briefly who was in Helena planning her move to Colorado Springs for her new job. I offered to help her drive if she needed the assistance.

Today (Monday) was up and down. I received a rejection of our manuscript from a journal which was discouraging. In the evening was the Q meeting which was better than last week I am happy to say. I left my phone at work, and Brandon and Ryan were over at the bar. I dropped by and amazingly enough Judy was there. She had decided to blow through early, and so there was a bunch of us there. We hung out there, and then I called it a night not long ago.

Last night Bonnie and I had a very wonderful and long conversation about prudishness, particularly in the US. I think the US is much worse for this than Australia or Canada, and probably even England, and we attributed it to religious hang-ups.
