The days here are getting quite short, sunrise isn't until about 7:30 am, and then it's down by about 6:30 pm. Daylight savings kicks in soon which will make them even shorter.
Things are just chugging away as per normal here. I'm trying to get people together to go to the big costume bash here in town on Saturday. It's been a bit tough getting firm confirmations, although I don't know why, I mean it's the most fun holiday of the entire year! I'll be doing my usual “Trinity" costume, which I also did last year in the Castro. I spent a chunk of money on the Dead-Tech corset, and I mean to get the most out of it.
I got an email from IUPUI, one of the schools to which I applied. They wanted to me to fill out an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action type form, so at least they haven't forgotten me. They were one of the first universities that received my application, so I am slightly reassured.
I've been trying to watch the film “The Fast Runner”, and I just can't get into it. Everyone tells me what a great film it is, but it's just not getting through to me. Some of that may be that I get movies that will allow me to turn off my brain after thinking too much all day. This movie requires a little more concentration than I can give it.
