To live so long, in so short a time.

If I flew more, maybe I'd get more writing done. The aircraft is currently making its way back to the terminal for some maintenance. I'm currently trying to get to Phoenix and from there to Flagstaff for an interview.

It's been an interesting and busy few weeks. Bonnie came up to Montana for Thanksgiving, and we had a nice time even though we're no longer together. We spent Thanksgiving at Lois and Lori's, which was a lot of fun.

Work has not been all that productive, because I have been working on my faculty seminars. I am still attending my silly chemical engineering class that will happily be over soon. I stopped going to one of the other classes I was sitting in on due to lack of time. My students have finished, so since I don't have to supervise them I at least have a little more time.

I've been hanging out with Kadie a lot, and we have become good friends. I cannot say that I know her well yet, but I am sure she might say the same of me.

On Friday I gave my future research presentation to Abbott, and he thought it was quite good. I still need to do more work on it of course, but I have a little while yet. I was actually feeling quite good in the morning, which might have been due to just having coffee for breakfast. I had not been getting as much sleep as I would like, but hopefully soon I'll be able to lay around in bed in the morning.

The week of Thanksgiving was nice Bonnie arrived on Monday night. I couldn't get in touch with Dan, so Mike was nice enough to lend me his car to pick Bonnie up from the airport. She was looking well, and it was hard to believe I hadn't seen her since late August. We drove home with a pile of groceries in the back, and she was very tired due to a long delay in Seattle.

On Tuesday she slept in while I went to my class. The class was somewhat redundant, so I was annoyed at having to be there. The rest of the day I worked on my research presentation, and in the evening Bonnie had coffee with Adrian and then spent some time with Alhanna. The sex that night was very nice, and the oestrogen cream seems to be working.

Wednesday I was giving my presentation to Abbott, and I was not well prepared. I was tired, and I got flustered quite quickly. Fortunately Abbott was understanding, and gave me plenty of good advice. Bonnie came by for lunch, and I was happy to escape. We walked down town to Main Street and found that Café Nova was closed. Instead we picked up some cooking supplies at the local hardware store. In the evening I made and sampled my first egg custard in what seemed like forever.

Thursday was my first chance to sleep in in a very long time. That was really needed, and Bonnie showed me how to cook sweet potatoes. I cooked another egg custard, and then about 3:30 pm we walked down to Los and Lori's. Audrey was there, and everyone was happy to see Bonnie. We worked on some craft things, and then more people arrived about 6 pm. The dinner was very nice, although there was a lot of reminiscing about 1976, which neither Bonnie nor could I remember. The dinner finished around 9 pm, and most people went home. Lois, Lori, Bonnie and myself stayed to play cards, and then about 11 pm, Lois and Lori suggested that Bonnie and I go use their hot tub. :)

I've neve been hot tubbing in Montana, and so we changed into… well, nothing actually. Skinny-dipping was something new as well, but just as fun. Anyway it was very nice, and Bonnie took care of some wiggling issues that had arisen. We got out just before midnight, and got dressed. The Lois and Lori lent us their car, that was also very kind of them.
