A changing world.

Today has been a day in which I got some tasks accomplished, but as always I still feel unproductive. I woke up at 7 pm, and was in the lab by 8 am. I ran an NMR, and then put a reaction on. I updated my diary entries, and was able to upload my 800th entry. My what time has passed since I first started this little ramble, who knows what I would have forgotten if not for it?

I finally got my biochemistry credits approved, and sadly had to drop my advanced maths class. I then went over to the administration building to work through the bureaucratic paperwork, and was able to finagle my tuition down to about $45 per credit. I have been getting estimates of floor space as part of my faculty negotiation, the base salary and start up funding have been determined I have been trying to negotiate an extra office. I went home for lunch around 1 pm, and came back via the gym.

I had dropped by the gym to get my membership renewed, which took a bit of running around, and I talked to Kadie briefly in the afternoon as well. Another reaction didn't work, and about 5 pm I went to the gym. Bonnie had organized an exercise regime based on my input, and it certainly gave me a workout. That took about 45 minutes, and I left work about 7 pm. This evening I ate dinner and baked bread. I have a set of symmetry exercises to work through, and I will probably been exhausted by 10 pm.

I'm feeling less bitter about what Kadie did yesterday, and I am grateful for her apology and remorse. She will be busy until Sunday, but we may go for a run tomorrow. I don't think that this is a long-term relationship, but every relationship is a learning experience.
