8:30 pm - Thursday 16th February 2005

Frequency count.

Well, it has been another crazy week. Today has actually been somewhat lazy, as I didn't get into work until about 10:30 pm. I spent the day doing minor tasks, and trying to figure out why this simple reaction is not working. Yesterday was quite different though. I was up at 8 am, and at work before 9 am. Then I worked on and off until about 11 pm. I finally emailed the proposal over to my boss, and hopefully he will give me some feedback.

The last few days here have been cold, and tonight it is just going to get ridiculous. Not including wind chill it's supposed to be down to -26C here tonight. Ironically down in Arizona it's been the mildest winter in years. I'm at home rounding out my lazy day with pizza and writing. I have my presentation to work on, and so I'm slowly putting together the skeleton of that. I haven't been to the gym since Monday night, and I really need to get my bum into gear. Next week I'll have a week of early morning blood drawings that will suck.

In other cool news, I discovered that my friends Jules and Susan are in Tokyo! She is there for some more educating, and he is there for the long holiday and boast factor of having lived in Japan for a year. Sadly I won't get to see them when I am back home in May/June.

Kadie has been sick with a nasty flu, but before it struck we spent the evening of Valentine's Day at my place. We had salmon steaks and rice with wine, followed by ice cream and rich dark chocolate. After a shower, we snuggled in bed and watched "March of the Penguins" which was cool. She didn't stay the night because she really wasn't feeling well.

Tomorrow a bunch of lesbians (including myself) will be going to an all female comedy review. Followed by the next in the series of dance parties organized by the university queer group. I don't know how long I'll stay for, however I can't imagine Kadie will be up for too much.
