Thursday 16th March 2006

There is no better indicator of my current state of work overload, than to state that dinner tonight consisted of "Top Ramen" (also known as two-minute noodles) and diet coke.

My birthday was a over week ago, and to celebrate Kadie and I ate pizza and watched a DVD. I talked to my parents, which was nice, and worked all day. Red sent me an email wishing me well, but disappointingly Bonnie did not acknowledge it at all.

I have been banging my head against some proposal reviews that need to be sent out as soon as possible before my trip to DC. I will be flying and travelling all over the place for the next few weeks, so I am glad I am not trying to teach a new class on top of all this other stuff. Fortunately I am making some progress on the proposals this evening, but I have been pulling some very obscene hours of late, on top of working out, spending time with Kadie and trying to do laundry and all the innumerable other things involved with life.
