It has been quite a busy week. As usual, Wednesday early afternoon was the deepest nadir, but since then I am happy to say that things have been improving.
This time last week I was in my usual “Thank heavens the week is finally over” phase. On Friday I had an afternoon coffee with a girl named Serena, whom I had met through Craigslist. To say that we hit it off, was quite the understatement. The girls and I had drinks and salad at 5 pm, overlooking the live music on the square. It was the Easter weekend, so there were numerous crosses to be seen. I stayed out until about 9 pm with Bren, and then I headed home, almost forgetting my bag in the process.
I slept in on Saturday, cleaned my bike in the morning sun and then cycled over to a Kona mountain bike trial. I had a glorious time trying out a $3,000 top of the line mountain bike, and then cycled a few more miles on my cyclocross bike back into town around noon.
I dropped in at a new coffee/bicycle shop which was quite groovy, and then after changing I picked up some groceries. I arrived back home and got ready for Saturday night.
Saturday ended in a flurry of clothes falling like leaves...
