This Greyhound coach is moving so slowly, I am able to scan for wireless access points. I don't think that is a selling point that they were trying for.

I am on my way back to Canberra after a successful trip to Sydney. The consulate is supposed to issue my visa and put it in the mail some time this week. That simply leaves me with the task of getting my doctor's letters in order, hence the journey back to Canberra this evening.

I was window shopping and found some really cool boots. As if my tastes weren't expensive enough, these are Aus$425, or US$338. They are enormous and clunky, and I would normally have strong reservations about buying them. Except for the fact that I have been hanging around Sereana a lot, and she has given me much more confidence about my height. She wears clunky shoes and doesn't apologize for it, so I figure I am allowed to as well.

I often feel people are staring at me, and I am probably right. But the thing is, it's not in a bad way. Some people are just looking around, others look to compare themselves to others, and some (mostly guys) are looking for eye candy. No one has said disparaging things to me in a long time, so I need to put those worries behind me.
