This CD player is really starting to shit me off… The damn thing hardly seems to work at all these days. I'm very tempted to take it back to the shop and exchange it tomorrow… grrrr.
Ok, so what have I been up to? Obviously I was up incredibly early this morning, but by about 9:00 am I was feeling a little tired, so I took the opportunity to have a 2 hour nap. Woke up and got into the lab at about 11:30 am. They had just received a new G3 apple computer at work and so N*** was working on that for most of today. I spent a great deal of the day alternating between the lab and the library. I had to do a lot more searching for papers in an attempt to find a useful method for making my compound precursor. Towards the end of the day I think I turned up a relatively useful procedure, so I put a reaction or two on, and I'll see how they go tomorrow. Tonight I have 13Carbon NMR time, so I will have to go back over around 9:00 pm.

11:10 pm – Went over to the lab at 10:00 pm and set up my NMR experiment. I got back here at about 10:50 pm and now I'm on ICQ with Red and Soba. I might if I survive for a little longer, send an email to Jen. She seems pretty busy at the moment, But I'm sure she won't mind if I just give her the general blurb of what is happening in Canberra… Just sent an email off and finished chatting to Red (~12:15 am). I was tempted to have a shave, but I'm pretty flaked out at the moment, so I'll pass.
