Hmmm… a fairly productive day today, so I guess I can't really complain.
I woke up about 9:30 am actually had breakfast for once and cycled into work after only a little procrastination. It was starting to rain and so I figured I'd stay inside and get some work done before going into Civic to pick up my reprints. I actually got a lot of work done it seems. I ran three tedious UV-Vis experiments and got a few other precursor reactions set up. Trying to make ADAM (the first EDEN compound) wasn't successful, but I'll try again tomorrow. Cycled into Civic about 12:00 pm and picked up the reprints which looked quite good. I stopped by Price-Line and got some pan-stick foundation in Tan 1. I figured because of the Roaccutane making my skin darker (darker-red specifically) I should get something which doesn't reflect so badly.
I'll ring Gloria tomorrow (I promise *g*) to organize the straightening, maybe for Thursday…
So after I got back I worked some more, more reactions went on and off, and I puzzled over my ludicrous Gold phosphine complex which has been bugging the hell out of me. Still no answers there… *sigh* But I got the fourth and last UV-Vis out of the way, so that just leaves one 13C experiment for Thursday and I'll just have the microanalysis to pass. :)
Kicked out of the lab at about 6:30 pm which was fine by me, came home and cooked up a bowl of two-minute noodles with cheese and pasta sauce. Not too bad actually, filled me up that's more sure… skin seems to be remaining steady *touch wood*. Chatted briefly to Susan and Jules and then after I ate I chatted to Soba briefly on ICQ and I crashed out at about 8:00 pm and woke up at 10:00 pm. I sent an email to Shirley and now I'm chatting on ICQ with Michelle. Looks like we'll be doing coffee or something when she comes into Civic for her progesterone shot.
1:10 am – Just got back from the shower, chatted with Michelle until 12:45 am and then Szusza cam online and so I said a brief hello. My face is peeling badly under my nose, and it's really annoying… *sigh*
Okkie, time to go to bed NOW!
