Wow, just sent out an rather large pile of email, thankfully that clears the backlog which has been building over the past week. Sent emails to Shirley, Peta, Ilara and Catherine.
Today was nothing special. I went and saw the doctor about my eyes, and he wrote me out a referral to an eye specialist (opthamologist ?) for Tuesday 11:40 am, so I hope he knows what the hell is up. I got into the lab about 10:00 am, got two failed reactions, went to a mid-term seminar (not too bad, but not great) and then came home at about 6:00 pm. I sent an email to my supervisor saying that things weren't going too great, but I haven't received any reply yet. I have been digging through my home reference papers, and have two possible suggestions, one modification to the existing method and one new method. I may try them out tomorrow.
Chatted to Susan and Jules for a little bit, filled in my Johns Ponitfex form and came down here. I decided against a shower and had some strong coffee instead. That gave me enough of a boost to get me through the lengthy emails I had to send. Had a chat to Mum and Dad on the phone earlier this evening, I apologized for my rant against the unfair world I had to her on Friday, but thankfully it hadn't been a problem. They bought a new car under the Primary producers scheme or something, so that is good since the others were falling apart. Had a brief chat with Krissy who has her next doctors appointment tomorrow.
Apart from that nothing really very interesting. Peta from Bateman's Bay said that the other Peta was going down for the weekend, and I was quite welcome, but I shall see how it turns out.
I'm trying to think of something interesting to say about Tranny issues, but the only thing I could come up with was "If women are from Venus and men are from Mars, does that mean that Tranny's are from Earth?" Should we be saying "Hey, get off my planet you boring straight's!"

Ok, enough gut-wrenching humor for one night, I'm off to bed…
