1:45 am Monday 1st November 1999

Just a quick entry for the diary tonight. Today I spent most of the day asleep. Daylight savings has totally messed my body clock, and the hay-fever was really bad. I couldn't spend much time outside without sneezing my face off.
I'm presuming Peta went to Bateman's today, because I phoned in the afternoon because I hadn't heard from her and there was only the answering machine when I rang her house. I hope she isn't too pissed off at me. I left a message on her mobile late last night, but I don't know whether she got it.
Today I went to brunch at about 9:30 am and then came back and went to bed. I woke up again about 1:00 pm chatted with Jules and went into Civic to get some hay-fever medication. I caught a bus to Belconnen and walked to Elly's place in Page where there was a meeting to discuss what we were going to do for the Spring-Out opening. That was reasonably productive, though I kept fairly quiet because I was just thinking about a lot of other stuff. Tomorrow (now today) is Michelle's big day, and that was weighing on me, along with making a mess of arrangements with Peta and also trying to think what I was going to say for the Quirk interview.
It went Ok, there was Catherine, Szusza, Elly, Tiffany and me and later Julia. We got a fair few things sorted out, I will do door greetings and food serving, but didn't want any part of the MC'ing. That went for about 3 hours including a fair bit of chat about this and that including some discussion of electrolysis which was interesting. Catherine gave me a lift back to Civic which was nice of her and we got to have a good chat on the way. I had to walk back to get my bike and so was breaking in the new shoes which wasn't too great, and so I got home, ate and went to bed for another 2 hours. I woke up again at 8:00 pm and decided that I should get this interview done as soon as possible. It took me about 3 hours work, but I think I answered the question fairly well.
