Ok, quick entry tonight, I have to go to bed early because tomorrow I'll be getting up at 7:30 am for the birthday breakfast.
My body is still stuffed from daylight savings, I woke up pretty late (early by my body clock) but tomorrow will probably fix that. I got into work at 11:00 am today and had lunch with Nikki at 12:00 pm. Then at about 3:30 pm I went shopping for Jules's present and after that had to pick up a whole heap of other stuff. I got back to the lab about 6:00 pm and came home. I had dinner, chatted with Red and Soba on ICQ, and then Peta rang. :)
She had been in Sydney that day and had visited Michelle, and I really wanted to know that Michelle was alright. Thankfully she was recovering and everything was OK. I was very relieved to hear that and had a nice chat with her. She may be going to Indonesia sooner than expected, and wouldn't be back for 3 months, so that will be sad. I chatted with Jules's briefly, then came down here. For Friday night I want to put on a "Gothic" look. I bought some black satiny material, but just can't decide how I want to wear it. I'm a little worried about money, because Sydney is always expensive and I will have to pay out extra money for essentials such as the name change which is the main purpose of going. I will hopefully see Michelle, depending on whether she is up to it. I won't get back until Wednesday and payday is on the Thursday, so I might take my credit card just in case. If everything goes fine and I get the fast-track name change, hopefully I can do my drivers license, bank cards and Medicare card in the same day. Fingers crossed, and we'll see what eventuates.
Ouch, just doing some calculations, $100 for accommodation, $86 for name change, drivers license = +$40, food = ~$50, extras = +$50, Goddam this may well hurt the old bank balance. Considering I'm not paying rent to John's anymore, where the hell is all my money going!? *sigh*
Ok, coming up on Mid-night. Time to set the alarm and pray for quality sleep.
