Okkie, I've got heaps to catch up on, so where will I start?
Ok, Saturday was spent doing a fair bit of walking. I met up with Red at 11:30 am in Civic and we did a little bit of shopping. We came back to Garema place about 12:30 pm as the Spring-Out festivities started up. There were a heap of speeches and maybe about 150 people standing around listening, not including people passing through. The speeches went on for about an hour and at ~1:30 pm we all got into a big line and marched down past the Canberra Center and then along the street into Glebe Park where there were festivities and stalls and so forth.
After spending a little time there, we wandered back up into Civic and ate. Red had bought a T-shirt and I eventually bought a CD "Leftism" by Leftfield. About 3:20 pm Red caught the bus back to Red Hill and I went home. I chatted briefly with S & J and then had a sleep through until about 6:00 pm. I got up and dressed and was up at Gidget's room at about 6:45 pm. Paul, Jules, Susan, Gidget and Red were there and I got a happy snap or two with my camera. Lloyd dropped by briefly, but had been doing army all day long and didn't come. We got to the Vietnamese restaurant at about 8:30 pm and ate and chatted until 10:30 pm. Some headed to the Pancake Parlor and continued with coffee. The conversation was very good, and at one stage I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath for a minute.
At about 11:30 pm we abandoned Civic to the booners and headed home where the last of us dispersed to bed. Sunday I woke up and was feeling Ok until the hay-fever hit. The usual medication wasn't working, so I had to cycle into Civic and get some new stuff which was great. I had a chat with Bob and went to brunch also. Most of the rest of the day was spent chatting with Jules, walking around the campus and doing some writing. It was nice to be able to relax completely for once. I sent an email to Ocky because I hadn't heard from him a while and he had sent me an email asking what's up? Did the shopping and ran into Gidget and Jules who were getting a present for Astro. I wrote him a letter and was going to get a card on Monday. Got to bed at about 1:00 am after chatting with Krissy and that was about it.
Monday was not such a great day, I spent most of the day repeating a very annoying synthesis for my starting material which I am quite sure didn't work. The time seemed to fly by, and because it was odd weather, I was feeling hot and unmotivated. It then started to rain as I came home. I had some dinner (cheese sandwiches and yogurt) and then crashed out. I woke up at 9:30 pm and got out of bed about 10:00 pm.
Last night I was reading some of Peta's early diaries, and I came across a quote which I found very poignant and equally descriptive of me as of her…

"All of this produced a young adult who appeared cold, secretive and unfriendly. This same person was also desperately keen to have friends and would have liked to talk to someone about the hurt deep inside…"

I realise so well what she meant. Thankfully now I think I am starting to finally stop being the cold, secretive individual and become someone new and better. :)
Hmmm… this is weird, I can't seem to access my homepage account, I've requested a new password, but that'll take a little while to trickle through… rather annoying.

11:30 pm - Ok, finally able to access the homepage account. I'm uploading the diary entries for the last week and so I'll end this one up here.
