Crap, another month nearly gone. Where the heck did that one go?
Ok, today. Dermatologist appointment in the afternoon, and he asked if I was on any additional medication. I mentioned I was on estrogen, and he said "That's reasonably obvious". I grinned and that was that. I clean forgot to ask about electrolysis, but I will take it slowly, waxing my eyebrows caused no problems, so I might ask if the laser place can do a small test patch first. So, beard "reduction" here I come hopefully. If I can get rid of the remaining black hairs on my top lip, it would be good.
What else? General silliness at the lab with the new Honours student E***** keeping us all merry and amused. It lightly rained most of today, and it was still raining when I went back over to the lab at about 11:00 pm. I fixed up a few reactions for tomorrow and filled out a whole bunch of the new annoying Occupational Health and Safety sheets which are a wonderful anti-productivity tool.
It's weird, I've got this annoying jaw-clench sort of muscle tension, and I don't know where the heck it's from. Maybe my stress levels are like Peta G's. ;)

I really am hanging out to get this blood test done, I desperately want to know if this implant has been worthwhile. I certainly hope so, but you just can't tell. I know I don't have the evil testosterone to deal with anymore, but it's more I want to have all the other changes, and I want to have the happen NOW! I know it's good for me that this isn't so, but I do want to make up for lost time. I'll get the blood test taken next Monday and I'll make an appointment to see Dr S***** for the Friday following. *fingers crossed*

I've also come up with a potentially interesting new route to synthesize a few useful compounds. I have rather unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) been side-tracked of recent from my novel work as I try to tidy up some gold compounds. It is good in the sense that I was starting to get slightly bored with what I had previously been working on for quite some time and so it is a useful temporary distraction.
