Q : What do you do if you've finished all your chores and your internet connection is down?

So, the cherry blossoms are out and spring is in the air. Time for birds and the bees to do their thing, and for couples to resume being nauseously lovey-dovey in public. ;)
The last few days have been up and down. Friday kind of sucked, there was no real reason I just felt "down". I'm attributing it to hormones, I feel that excuse is at least somewhat justified.
Myself, about to leave for the Katoomba Ball
Thursday was more Z-scan (blah), DJ course, and finally seeing myself on Bridget's video of the Sydney Mardi Gras when I dropped around to see S&J. Again, I think I look Ok in normal light, so why do I look so awful under flash photography? I think it's because I'm always too close to the flash, and night-time photography usually means I'm wearing make-up which turns out weird… oh well, here I go anyway…

As for tonight, I'd like to go and see "Ghost Dog - Way of the Samurai" at 7:15 pm, and then if I've still got strength left, then "The Matrix" is on as the Late Show tonight.

9:40 pm - "Ghost Dog" was good. It helped that I had already read "Way of the Samurai" and had some understanding of the motives and code behind which the main character and the samurai of old operated.

Anyway, I need to go to over to the lab and shut off a reaction.

1:45 am : Ok, so this is way later than I was expecting to get to bed, but whatever…
The Matrix was good, much better then I had expected, and the soundtrack (well, the bits I paid attention to) really rocked! :)

On the other hand, I continue to be amazed at the level of ignorance of some people, and amazed at how forcibly they are will to display their scientific and intellectual feebleness. To quote a close friend of mine…

"Incredibly opinionated comment and inaccurate factual presentation passed off as immutable, logical truth..."
