Hmm, catch-up time. So, Thursday was the end-of-year bash around at Burt St. I wasted a fair chunk of the day by first sleeping in (deliberately) and then having a hair appointment at 2 pm coupled with getting alcohol and stuff. I finally got there at about 6:30 pm, and as the sausages sizzled, the alcohol was slowly consumed and the conversation ebbed and flowed. I took my good camera which I have the black and white film loaded into, and I tried to take some good photos. There was about 8 or 10 people there, including Paul, Lloyd and even Lawrence made a guest appearance. By midnight we started wrapping up, and I got a lift home with Paul who was also driving Susan and Jules.
The next day I was feeling a bit seedy, but nothing major. It was submission day for the Honors students, so again the day was mostly wasted though I did edit some tables. To celebrate we headed over to the Uni bar in dribs and drabs, and I bought my communal round, but dropped $10 which I didn't notice till much later. By 7 pm, as the previous entry states, I was feeling quite dizzy.
Today was walking, food shopping, email and trying to relax and not do work. Tomorrow I have to brunch to farewell the laser electrologist.
