It's hard to recall what I actually did. My long-term memory is fine, but my short term is totally fried… Today was fighter training, I wasn't sure if it was going to be on, but it was, just slightly shorter than usual. The SCA meeting was on but I spent most of the time sewing. I was putting black cord around the sleeves and neckline of my new purple dress and it looks quite nice. I found some "spider mesh" to make a light chemise out of which I'll wear underneath, it's all a nice distraction from having to think.
Yesterday I applied for a post-doctoral position online. It was for a synthetic chemist working in an NLO orientated research group in Atlanta Georgia. I very much doubt I'll get the first job I apply for, but at least it's a start. The applications don't close for another month, so I'll probably forget about it until I get my rejection letter.
I haven't received anything back from my supervisor recently and I'm terribly bored with the last stage of Chapter 2 I have to fight through. The lab was a mess so I tidied for a while and put on a reaction which was a nice break. Staring at a computer for so long is really starting to kill me, alas there's plenty more of that to do.
