Madison is about many things. Central, of course, is the State Capitol, but other key parts of the city for me include State Street, the University, the Arboretum, the zoo, and the near east side. Recreation is central to the people here, and much of it is free, such as Vilas Zoo, the parks, many concerts, the Capitol, most of the museums, and more.
