The AlexBee Award of Web Brilliance are given to
sites that show a lot of effort and thought in their design.
- ANIMATED GIFS - A few animated gifs are cool,
but shouldn't be overdone, unless it's a gallery I'm looking at..
- BACKGROUNDS & TEXT - Backgrounds are
colorful and fun, and the text is still legible.
- FRAMES - The page uses frames effectively; The
author has provided a non-frames version for those that don't like frames.
- LINKS - All the links should be working.
- MUSIC - Music is nice, better if it's ever
changing. A plus if the author has included a way to shut it off.
- ORIGINIALITY - The page cries out the
personality and interests of the author!
- SPEED - The page(s) should all load fairly
quickly, picture galleries are an exception.
