This is not going to be an article about usual uses of heat. We all know what those are: cooking, warmth, manufacturing, etc. I want to tell you about your internal heat and what it can do for you and others around you.
We call it many things: heat, passion, anger, fear, shame, to name a few. These are emotions we all experience, I hope. Through years of control and manipulation by government, religion and society we have been taught to shun our emotions. We’ve been taught emotions make us step over that line of self-control. They aren’t healthy. This is a bunch of bunk!
If we weren’t supposed to have emotions then why were we created in God’s image? You look in Genesis at the story of the flood. God repented, or was sorry, He/She had made man, and in a moment of rage and sorrow, destroyed the earth and mankind, except Noah and family.
God has emotions. How do I know this? According to scientists and New Age theories and from research into the old religions, we know God to be a form of pure energy. He/She created everything in balance to work together in nature. There is energy in all things, living and not living. How could a rock, the Moon, have power over the water on Earth if it had no energy? The rocks and dirt under your very feet vibrate to the rhythm of God’s plan of life.
So do you. You have the power within you to change things around and inside you. Look at the miracles of Jesus. He said that all people will do these things and greater. There have been many saints throughout history who have had the power to heal, to foresee disaster, to perform amazing physical feats, to move objects with the power of their minds and more. Where does this come from?
It comes from you, your personal power, your heat and emotions. The Bible says to pray fervently. Buddhists pray and chant with passion. Primitive tribes and native peoples perform rituals with passion, dancing, singing, music and drums. (They did it in the Bible, too.) This passion produces heat, and heat produces power. There is an old saying about blood, sweat and tears. It is physically possible to sweat and cry blood. That is intense power.
Next time you feel intense emotion about something, look at it in terms of energy. How can this energy be focused and directed to do good? Many people today are returning to the old ways of religion that are focused on this energy. They are returning to natural healing with herbs and crystals and laying on of hands for healing. Why? Because it works. Humankind has not changed over time except maybe in a bad way - we have become numb to our power and the power around us. Free yourself from this bondage and belief that you have no power or control of yourself and your world. Tap into your heat and let it change you.
