This is an attempt to gather information about Singapore educational institutions and their attitudes towards queer people. If you have ever studied in Singapore, please send an email to us at projectq@hotmail.com about your experiences. It would be helpful if you used the following list of questions as a guide for your response.

2. Did/do you live at home or on campus?

3. What was/is the general attitude of the staff towards gay/lesbian/queer people? Hostile/unfriendly/indifferent/friendly/positive

4. What was/is the general attitude of your peers towards gay/lesbian/queer people?

5. How openly gay/lesbian/queer were/are you in the institution?

6. Had/have you ever experienced discrimination in the institution based on your being gay/lesbian/queer?

7. Had/have you ever spoken to any person in a position of authority in the Institution about being gay/lesbian/queer?

8. Were/are gay/lesbian/queer issues ever discussed openly in or out of classes/lectures/tutorials?

9. Did/have you met any other gay/lesbian/queer people in the institution during your time there?

10. What do you feel the institution could have done/could do to make life easier/better/fairer for gay/lesbian/queer students in it?

11. Do you mind your responses being quoted from on a website? Would you like to be quoted anonymously, with a nickname or with your real name? (please provide us with one if you do)
