we are probably people you would consider to be on the inside. however
this is just another lable that separates one group from another.
tonight we stumbled upon your outsider web page and being open minded
high school students we were interested in what your staff had to say.
so we read all the articles, from the first to the recent and we find
that we don't agree with everything written. not that this is a bad
thing, opinions are sometimes jadded because of different surroundings.
we are all involved in school activities but its not because this is
what the so called conforming government, school officials, and brain
dead students told us to do. we enjoy cheering for the hard working
athletes the art students, the ffa, the choir, drama, and all those
students we didn't mention who also get involved instead of just sitting
around btcthing about how terrible our school is. we don't expect the
principal or the student government to change our experiences in high
school. we expect ourselves to take action and make our learning
enviroment a positive place and somewhere we want to be. "i can not
teach you what i can not feel," The Power of One, it is true that some
teachers don't teach what they love. but still these teachers aren't
there to make you conform to the "system". but remember real learning
comes from outside the classroom. sure a teacher could be a motivator
but a student has to be an instigator. it would be a beautiful place if
everyone cared and accepted everyones individuality, however this
understanding does not come from magazines like yours. we think its
great that you have opinions and have bettered yourselves. we think you
have good intent but bad action. all you see are problems but what are
your solutions? we understand your complaints, the school system is not
perfect. but we believe your views of some of the teachers are off
centered you make such large generalizations with no examples. these
are our opinions. thanks for reading them. we think communication is
important if you want to write us please e-mail us at qaz4@hotmail.com
