I've seen your zine from a friend and I thought it was pretty tool ( cool
).. and I liked your review on Local Control... I find it strange that in your
zine I found nothing pertaining to Local Control's sister band Boyflower who
played that same night at BOB ( battle of the bands ). I realize their sound was
not up to key and that was partially in thanks to Mr. Plants and how he set up
the P.A. system... See the right stage in which Mr. Toads Wild Ride, Liquid
Sound and Boyflower played on, had some "blown" speakers and as a result
Boyflower's sound wasn't up to key. Oh well. I just kind of feel left out since
I am in Boyflower... and I guess I could understand if you didn't like our
music. But uh I hope to possibly see some reviews later on in your zine about us
as well as some more on Local Control and other bands from Bend or Redmond (
good bands ). Maybe I'll even see you at an upcoming benefit show at some
church.. ( don't ask yet, I don't know where ). On the bill is Boyflower, Local
Control, and I think Mr. Toads Wild Ride. I hear the show will take place in May
sometime around the 20th.. but it will probably change. Oh well... keep it up..
hoping to see your next issue.... wait I don't even OWN the first issue. Wait
I'm not even supposed to know who you are..... but I do... but that's no
biggie.. I don't care... I like what you are doing. And I am interested in
submitting to your mag as well... so send me some guidelines.
