P.J.'S BOOKSHELF
NEW TITLES ADDED REGULARLY! . . . uh . . . SEMI-REGULARLY! . . . uh . . . Okay . . . in fits and starts. Sorry. This page isn't so much "under construction" as it is "constantly evolving" (Perhaps I should say "constantly mutating" >:-) In either event, here's what's currently sitting on my bookshelf . . .

The "PJ Chronicles"
Important note:
The following stories represent a continuing "chronicle". To get the full sense of each story, they should be read in the order in which they appear here."Dressing for Success" This is the old classic about a fellow desperate to land a job with a company that's only hiring females, and the lengths to which he'll go to land the job.
"
The New Model" Sequel to "Dressing for Success". The firm has landed a prestigious ad campaign and needs to find "the perfect girl" to model a new line of designer lingerie. That the new "girl" may not exactly be a . . . well . . ."The Game" Sex and lies and video tape . . . and the price of honor
"Much Ado . . ." Lessons in love . . . on the road with PJ
New, April 13, 1998
"Pas d' Duex" Final chapter (so far ;-) in the "PJ Wright Chronicles". Will PJ find true love in the arms of the new computer technician?******************************************************************
New, June 9, 1998
"
Cold Fusion" My first novella. A young Army officer is sent into danger when very troubling rumors start to circulate. It seems that the secret of producing a 'cold fusion' nuclear reaction is about to fall into some VERY wrong hands. Time is short . . . there's only one way into the villian's strong hold. (I've tried for a bit more serious treatment here . . . an attempt at a genuine 'spy story'. Did it work?)New, October, 98
The Tony Chan Mysteries
"For Lisa" A killer is stalking the prostitutes of Seattle. When his policewoman lover becomes the latest victim, a young policeman vows to do anything to bring the killer to justice. (This is the first "chapter" in what turned out to be a new story cycle for me; "The Tony Chan Mysteries")
"Sins of the Flesh" The murder of a Seattle abortionist seems to be an open and shut case. There’s even an eyewitness who saw the murderer fleeing the scene of the crime and can identify her. Or so it would appear . . . (Continuing with the characters first begun in "For Lisa". This is my first attempt at a serious "who-done-it" mystery . . . but with a transgendered twist.)
"Forced Perspective" When a major investigation goes awry, all the evidence points to a "dirty cop" at work in the Seattle Police Department. Identifying the traitor becomes a very pressing concern for Tony Chan and his partner Stef Iaway . . . their names are at the top of the suspect list!

"And then . . . there's the really "dirty one" . . . .
