The Laird Hotel ****
149 Gipps Street, Collingwood

A Leather Bar full of hot Bears and Cubs and Leathermen. It has 2 Bars, Boots Bar, Nuggets Bar and a New Leather Shop so you can drink, shop and sleep in one of Melbourne’s HOTTEST leather Bars. It also has different Groups who meet at the Laird. VicBears (Bears and admirers) meets the Third Monday night of every month, The Jackaroos (leather and denim club) meet every Tuesday night, and is the home of the Melbourne Leather Men who meet every Thursday night. It’s a great cruising bar with outdoor areas in the summer and open log fires in winter. Come early and roast your BUNS next to the fire. Mmmmmmmm. Many start there evening at the Laird before going onto other venues later. Open late most nights of the week. The Hotel also has accommodation. Some of the rooms are located in a house across the road; others are above the bar and can be a bit noise unless you party through till close each night. The Gatehouse ****
10 Peel Street, Collingwood

The Gatehouse is a BD/SM guesthouse, with communal Kitchen, Bathroom and TV lounge. In your room you have a sling and a restraining area, with an upper mezzanine with Double bed and in house music each room has black rubber floors and wall with exposed brick walls, after you have had a hard night playing or partying at near by clubs and bars, you can make coffee or have a continental breakfast.

Jocks Bar ***
No 9 Peel Street Collingwood

Step back in time. Carringbush 1860. The days of marvelous Melbourne, burgeoning prosperity and bonhomie. Many patrons describe the bar as a "Cheers-type" bar, "cosy", "homely" or "intimate". The Star Hotel ***
175 Hoddle Street Collingwood

Well this hotel Is Mixed and has different fun nights from drag to 60 and 70s with Tex comparing the night Brendon DJ. This hotel is just down the road from the laird and the Glasshouse and the Peel Dance Bar and can be a lot of fun so drop in and say Hi to Fritz and Andy the owners they also have accommodation there so give them a call on 61-3-9417-2696 or 61-3-9419-9846

• Heathveille House, 171 Aitken Street, Williamstown. Phone/Fax # 61 3 9397 5959. A little far out of town, nice city views and restaurant areas.
