True Selves by Mildred L. Brown & Chloe Ann Rounsley THE BEST book written for and about Transsexuals. The authors are able to provide the reader with a sense of what it means to be Transsexual. I highly recommend this to all Transsexuals and those who know a Transsexual person.

Dr. Randi Ettner takes us through various cases she has treated over the years and gives a really good insite into the issues that Transsexuals have to face.
		Transgender Care: Recommended Guidelines, Practical Information & Personal Accounts by Gianna E. Israel & Donald E. Tarver II, M.D. A really good book about Transsexual care. Written mainly for those who provide services to the Transsexual. Also provides good information for the Transsexual to take with them when looking for hormones, therapy, etc.
		Transgender Warriors by Leslie Feinberg A wonderful look into Transgendered history.
		Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg A tortuous tale of confused sexual identity, feeling male in a female body. Reading this book will change your whole perspective on the world of transgender issues. It is truly beautiful.
		My Gender Workbook: How to Become a Real Man, a Real Woman, the Real You, or Something Else Entirely by Kate Bornstein This is truly a workbook. If you want to explore gender, then this is the book for you.
		Lesbians Talk Transgender by Zachary I. Nataf A good introduction to Transgender identity issues writen from a Lesbian's perspective.
		Read My Lips: Sexual Subversion and the End of Gender by Riki Anne Wilchins As Riki Anne says, "The question is not How to judge who is Woman or Man, but Why should anyone have the power to judge at all?". An interesting look inside Transgender politics.
		Sex Changes : The Politics of Transgenderism by Pat Califia Radical activist Pat Califia puts contemporary transsexual politics into historical context. Another book in my library waiting to be read!
		Mom, I need to be a girl by Just Evelyn This is a wonderful account of how a Mother dealt with her Transsexual teenager. I can only hope other parents use this as a guide to dealing with their own TS children.
