Finger Fruits

Even during the 1940's and 1950's party-goers were enjoying fresh fruits. Well, they were enjoying fresh fruits dipped in sinful sauces!

Serve your fruit bites on toothpicks stuck into a Plaid salad bowl of ice!

Ingredients
Fresh fruits from California, Hawaii and Florida.
  • Pineapple
  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Prunes
  • Avacado

Tangy Cocktail Sauce

  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 3 Tbls. chili sauce
  • 2 Tbls. horseradish
  • 3 Tbls. lemon juice
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • dash of Tobasco sauce

Instructions

Cut pineapple into chunks, serve on picks and dip into deviled ham 'n' cheese spread.

Dip apple or pear wedges into lemon juice, to dunk in  a sharp cheese spread, or mixture of Roquefort and cream cheese.

Pineapple chunks topped with Camembert Cheese.

Prunes, stuffed with crunchy peanut butter.

Avacado cubes on picks, dipped into lemon juice or Tangy Cocktail Sauce and then dunked in grated cheese.

Tangy Cocktail Sauce
Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
