Just kidding...
I was born in New York City on February 7, 1961.  When I was but a mere lad, my parents snatched my sister & I up from our comfortable roots in Great Neck, Long Island and dragged us to that sin city, fun-in-the-sun glamour capital of Miami Beach, Florida.
After my mom died, we tried but my dad and I really couldn't find a way to get along (nope... it wasn't the 'gay' thing... he died recently but we were finally able to get real close by working together before he did...) so I quit school (admittedly a stoopid move but I've never really regretted it... I earn a decent living selling industrial machine tools without it...) split Miami and spent my teenage years in the Chelsea section of Greenwich Village (unfortunately, then it wasn't the hotter-than-hot Boystown it is today... more like a weirder-than-weird slum... whadda 'ya want?? I was only 17!)
When I hit my thirties I decided to check out Baghdad by the Bay... San Francisco, California. and ended up living there for four years.  I've never felt so at home in a place in all my life...
I miss it to this day.
Now I'm 37 (Oy!) and back in Miami.... but, on the whole, I'd still rather be in San Francisco!!

Not too much!!
Because I live on Miami Beach, and don't want to lose my citizenship, I rollerblade...
I don't do this by choice mind you but because, for some reason, it is a legal requirement here.
I'm neither real good nor real fast but I'm a very graceful faller... because, I suspect, I get so much practice at it!
My other favorite passtimes include doing hard crossword puzzles, shooting pool, partying in the hottest SoBe clubs, hanging out with my cuter-than-cute 2 year old niece Goldie, seeing offbeat movies, surfing the web, chatting in the irc undernet #bearcave, meeting new bear friends, reading  beat poetry  and prowling around seedy dive bars late at night.
