MY SITE HAS BEEN UP 10 YEARS!!!

First off...Let me tell you a little about me and my web site!

I am TroyTX, I am 40 years old and I live in Dallas, Texas. I am SINGLE!!! I have great group of friends, as you can tell as you go through my site. They mean the world to me... They really are my extended family. I am grateful everyday for my life and my friends.

OK... A little history... I grew up in Joshua, Texas (a small town south of Fort Worth), I moved to Dallas after college. So I have been here for about 13 years now and I love it! Just the right pace for me... Big enough for fun...not to big to overwhelm! (Well that might be my description of the perfect man too!) I digress...

OK... about the site... It has been up since early 1997 and I don't update it often enough...But I will try to do it more often. I used to own and ride horses... thus the title! So welcome to the Ranch! Have fun! No B.S... Just a little of my life! Well my site has now become the official page of the Royal Court of the Moby's Patio Mickey's. We are very close group of friends that get together a lot. The holidays always turn into "Gay Drunken Holiday!" Maybe we should start our own AA group!

Life is funny! I wrote this intro a few years ago and now I am sober! Life has a way of coming full circle and mine has! So this website is a testament to what I used to be like!

What I am like now!

2005 was a very wierd and glorious year for me! I got sober, lost a job, went to Rome, worked several part-time jobs during the summer, got a really cool job... AND STAYED SOBER!

2006 was an incredible year, went to England....AND STAYED SOBER!

2007 is going great.. Turned 40!!!!! Got a new toy (See below) And I have now been sober 2 Years! STAY TUNED!

On Friday, September 26, 2003 a shining light in my life was snuffed out. Shayne was one of my dearest friends on the planet. He and I had known each other for many years. People came and went in and out of our lives and I always knew that Shayne would be there to brighten my day and make me smile. He was an amazing young man, who didn't listen to conventional wisdom on how someone should live his life. He lived everyday to the fullest.

He was a true original.

I will miss you always.

Thank you for being my friend and for filling my life with so much joy and happiness.

Another Drunken Gay Holiday! Our celebration of our freedom. Thank you Supreme Court! Victor, Jason and Super Dave came into town from El Paso! So Gary, Mark, Brad, Lester and I threw a party in our backyard! Fun was had by all! I will be posting more pics later of the evening at Moby's!!

Here are a few pictures from my 36th birthday. Ted came into town for the weekend and Melanie (my boss) came to Moby's for the party. Dave and Tonya came along with the rest of the group. Gary, Mark, Brad, Lester and Roland. I got pretty drunk that night. Fun was had by all!

Roland and I at Moby's for New Year's Eve! We had a great time! Most of the whole gang was there! We started out at Dale's apartment. Very odd collection of people at this house! Then we went to Moby's for the night. Most of our friends were there and I even ran into some old friends I hadn't seen for a while! Then at 2 AM we went back to Dale's for after hours. Played the "Name Game" until about 7 AM! Then slept most of the day on New Year's Day! But fun was had by all! Take a look at the new pictures!
