Well, you wanted to know about me, so I guess I'll tell you. I've also included links to other locations from here, some of which you can access from other points on my site, others are exclusively from here.

I'm currently a junior at the University of California, Davis (hence this background) double majoring in International Relations and Linguistics. The school is great and I've met people that I hope to call friends for the rest of my life. We're about 30 minutes from Sacramento and and hour and a half from San Francisco, which is really fortunate since there is nothing to do in Davis...

Most of me can be found in the rest of my site, since I included all my major loves, including music (I have over 400 CDs), especially Peter Gabriel and Tori Amos. I also love to write poetry as I believe it is an tangible artistic expression of intangible emotions.

I've been into the rave scene for a few years now, and I can't describe the kind of joy I get from raving, but I'll do my best. There is something enormously gratifying about going to a rave. If you have the right mindset before entering the experience, a rave can change you forever. You have to allow the environment to enter you, and you will become the rave. The culmination of mind, body and technology can propell you to a new level; a higher plane of consciousness. Every rave I go to, I strive to reach a more advanced existence, and each time, something in me changes for the better. For those ravers out there, you know what I mean, for others, you may never understand, and I feel sorry that you won't have bettered yourselves in this profound way. "Ravers of the universe unite! You keep the spirit alive!"

As if it wasn't obvious, I love randomness, since life is random and I believe in living it to the fullest and having a great time while you're at it. To me, nothing is really too important in the long run to ruin your personal happiness over.

I also love being gay and identify highly with that aspect of myself. I am very active in the queer community of this area, including being a member of Delta Lambda Phi, the national gay fraternity. Until society treats being queer as no different from anything else, we must all increase our visibility and take action to make the world a safer place for everyone. I mean, there are straight people being bashed out there for being allies...I don't see how anyone can sit by apathetically as hatred runs rampant.
