Oh my Gawd...the chips

Or in our case, the tempe. Grant had a little fire in the kitchen - a set of tongs that had water in them ended up with:

No real damage, well nothing a spot of plaster and paint hasn't fixed. The good thing is it appears all those fire-training sessions at the oil refinery must have sunk in ... even with his arm on fire Grant turned the gas off from under the pan before dashing to the shower!

Down at Ormond House this are just swimming along for Dale. Everyone's moved in, all the staff seem to be coping fine. The walls and doors already have their fair-share of dents after coming off second best in arguaments between heavy metal wheelchairs and house fixtures...

Meanwhile Grant has been studying Indonesian, 30 odd contact hours per week. How can you possibly remember 2000 words in 2 weeks??? You cannot, but he will soon enough. At least he now understands how to go from root word to verb in either active, passive, transitive or intransitive form. Anyone who's "done" Indonesian will be familiar with the fun you can have deciding whether to add ber~ or meng~/men~/mem~/me~ to a root word and the way that then sets out your sentence structure. Urgghhh!

This is just a short one, so hope eveyone's fine and look forward to hearing from you soon.
