APPOMATTOX COURTHOUSE

Living in Lynchburg, Virginia, Appomattox Courthouse was not that far away. In fact, where I worked was halfway there from where I lived. Appomattox is, of course, where the Civil War ended. It actually ended in the house of a gentleman who moved to Appomattox from Manassas after the first battle there. The area is now set up as a National Historical Park. Enjoy the pictures below.
