Some of my own poems

It's your own fault,
if you read those
and on your own risk,

I thought my gate well guarded
My walls strong and powerful
keeping the unwanted out
My heart clad in the coolest armour
but thou marched in without warning
No sign of alarm went on, no signal at all
Thou came hidden and took me once more
Took hold of my castle, of myself
The feeling sneaked through
In triumph thou possess me once more.
I know thee well: Thy name is desire.

Eyes that speak

In thine eyes lays desire for more
Thy eyes tell more than a mouthful of words
Can I believe, what they say with their look ?

Is this my desired island,
My harbour on a rough sea ?
Or are my wishes and hopes
once more build on sand ?
Will the fire burn down
and leave ashes and dust ?
Nothing to trust ?

Don't promise

When I close my eyes the world stops moving
Nothing's anymore important to me
All my thoughts center on one desire
To hold you and keep you in my arms
With me you'll be save, trust me, try me.
Don't need your promises, I need your presence.
Only be there, give me a smile and hold my hand
If it lasts forever, not my question nor my desire
Don't explain, don't promise,
just smile at me once more.
If your eyes tell me more
than a thousand words
then I'll be patient, I'll almost wait forever.

The bitter cup

Tired of the tip-toe game of romance
Lots of empty space in my emotions house
Tired of the who's-calling-who game
with almost all senses deaf.
No daisy-field to sing la-la in
No bed of roses to dream in
Almost tired of the tip-toe-game
Tasted the bitter cup, drank it to the bottom.

You'll marry him

And now it's time to let you go,
I said good-bye to our love long ago.
No spell will bring it back to us
In a small box I hid the sacred feeling
of our unity, of our dream
This moment was divine.

Over the years I kept it save
and held it as a treasure
Now it's time to let it go,
I''ll put in a rivers flow
Or standing on a mountain top
I realise our little treasure so long kept
Let it fly and bloom with others
I've heard you're happy now
You'll even marry him-
One step closer than I ever came.
So this means good-bye to a dream
I can't summon you anymore
Finally it is released, unbound and free
the feelings will pass on to others.

The blooming meadow

I met my love on a blooming meadow
The place seemed perfect for our love
to flourish and prosper.
We fed upon the fruits of trees
and berries of the meadow.
The blooming flowers were our delight.
It seemed the sun would always
shine so bright.

I met my love on a blooming meadow
I thought it a save place for our love
I didn't see the rocks,
I didn't see the mud.
Blinded by the sun and the blooming meadow.
The rocks forbid a plentiful growth.

What was the blooming meadow
An illusion with flowers to cheat.
To carry away the rocks,
To put aside the mud,
I tried invain for long.

I met my love on a blooming meadow
and suddenly the wind blew cold.
With all the rocks and all the mud
there was no save place for my love and I.

On a wild night

Passion on a wild night
Darkness surrounds us
Pleasure is ours
Who cares about results
life is here and now
To taste your sweat
To feel your desire

Passion on a wild night
Taste life, taste sweat
No tip-toe game ending with the blues
Reach out and you can feel the heat
Listen you'll hear loves real voice
Look you'll see passion on a wild night

Passion on a wild night
No meaning intended
No breakfast shared
Without a promise to be broken
Without any hurt of romance

Words unspoken cause cold silence
Dreams untold, slowly die
Desires not shared,
leave you feeling empty.

The cat's game

How dare you behave like this ?
I could curse you a thousand times
You read in me like an open book
just to bring it back to the library

Played the old tune on my emotions strings
You opened my heart to look at it
Curious you were, to see it bleeding
You sensed the fragile shape of my costume
saw through the mists,
I had wrought for protection

Playing the love-ya tune to snare me
You broke down all the walls
straight you aimed at the heart
with magnificent talent
like a kid you played with me.

Soon lost interest in your toy
I was too easy a challenge
with the castle taken too soon
You didn't play emperor
Just destructed and went on

Could raise a hurricane of anger
to release on you.
Could blast you out of
your darling behaviour.
Could curse you for behaving like this.
Worthless- you deserve to be forgotten.
I'll put your little game in a small box,
return it to sender,
may it stay with you forever.
I am no ones little mouse in a cats game.
