Pink Village 4 years old

What do we do when the crew has left the sinking ship, and only PV Guide is guarding the township? Quite simple: We celebrate Pink Village's 4th Anniversary, and raise like a Phenix from the ashes!:)

So, are you ready to join in to celebrate Pink Village's FOUR YEARS? It's an impressive amount of time compared to the AW community; PV is probably the oldest AW community that is still (at least sort of) alive. Every year a new Council has done the great job of keep the speed up, but it's gotten harder work all the way. First there is the problem that we can't give out building rights to anyone who want to help maintaining the site, because there's not such a thing as a PV account. 2nd, GZ is empty most of the time because if anyone is in PV there are so many places to go. 3rd, there has been arranged "hundreds" of events where the Council spend hours on planning, and nobody attends. 4th, PV is a gay & lesbian community, but little by little we have become pretty straight... 

We now need new impulses, we need each of you folks to contact the Council with ideas or requests - becauyse without some interactovity AW's first G/L community will end up as a museum (ok, with one gay Guide yelling whenever he sees a green frog...:).

Celebrations this Saturday
Saturday the 3rd of February we want each of you to gather to celebrate the past 4 years, but also the beginning of the new PV community:) Not every single bit can be changed in one night, but it will help a lot to see if anyone is interested, just by attending:) The first hour will be for the invited PV citizens and friends, only, while the main party will be open to the entire AW community.

22:00 (10PM) VRT - at the Rainbow Garden - the traditional event of a speech or two as well as announcing the new PV Council takes place! We'll also sing the birthday song while Bille plays the outdoor piano:) If you want to be a PV Councillour (full time or part time) please contaxct the PV Council at pv-council@egroups.com or telegram Bille no later than February 2nd at noon VRT.

22:30 VRT - Pink Avenue - on our way from the Rainbow Garden to the party at the Pink Parade night club, we will hoisten some new national flags along the flag parade, while we listen to the national anthems:) If your flag has not been added there yet, please join us!!!

23:00 (11PM) VRT - Pink Parade night club - 4th Anniversary Party!! 
Pink drinks, gay'ish music, dancing and spontanous jokes told by the guests - reading the birthday telegrams, and maybe PV Guide will stop by with some surprising new attitude:)

Your congratulations to Pink Village and it's citizens andfriends will be read (hm, written) out loud at a special telegram section of the party at Pink Parade night club. You are welcome to leave a greeting even if you are not a registered citizen or friend of PV.
