The Sky Forest
If you follow the Pink Highway north, cross the PV Border Road ant then turn to your left, you'll get your eyes on the largest project initiated by a PV citizen this far (2180S 2213E). It is called the Sky Forest, and is located as part of the landscape surrounding the river coming from somewhere further north.
Eljay in front of the café
Eljay, who is responsible to this project, has got lots of future plans for the area:
"Today the Sky forest has got a café, lots of pictures and also a monument of the three first citizens of PV", Eljay announces. "Within a few weeks there will be attractions like riverboats and a beach. Sky Forest will appear more or less as a recreation centre - for holidays or just for a shorter stop."
How big is this area, and from where do all this water come?
"The river starts it's journey from a big lake further north, and there are several pretty beautiful scenarios along it's passage. The river gets real wide further south - that's where the Pink Island is."
Sky Forest reminds of a flying island
When will the Sky Forest be all done?
Eljay sighs: "Well, as you should know, there are always something to improve, or new ideas ought to be added. So I think this work will go on for a while. The riverboats and the beach though, will be ready in a few weeks, I hope."
The Town Hall
The PV Town Hall is the first building you see when you get teleported to Pink Village from any of the advertising boards that are placed in AlphaWorld (2222S 2222E 222). This red building contains the Info Centre and the Post Office on ground level, and if you walk the stairs to the 1st floor, you'll get to the Town Hall Reception Desk, the PV Council's Chamber and finally the Mayor's office.
The Town Hall is a red building...
The Info Centre is the perfect place to start whenever you are visiting Pink Village! Besides the maps on the wall, the Pink Point news stand and of course the PV Guestbook, you should pay some attention to the computer on the desk. By clicking on it you'll get various local information such as PV Law, history, list of shops and services within PV, the maps in higher quality, and also the form for registration as a PV citizen.
At the Post Office you will find a sign for each registered citizen. Click the sign to send the person an e-mail.
The locations upstairs are more or less reserved for the PV Council, but of course - you might take a look around if you are a bit curious
