Monday's are always a great day. THey are Glen Day's for me. It's the day that I visit my love, Glen, in prison. Unfortunately as a maximum prisoner I can only see him three times a month, so it's tough when you have months like last month with five Mondays! Well it was really good to see him again after a two week break. It's lovely to be able to hug each other. And he looks so sexy in his orange uniform <grin>. He also looks so well and in high spirits. Usually I bring my Bible with me and we share the sermon from the service on Sunday, but today I forgot my BIble at home! We do so enjoy our little spiritual time together. But we could still hold each other's hands and pray together. I am so grateful that the Lord has given me a Christian partner!

Glen gave me his speech that he was to have given on AIDS Day, about living as a prisoner with AIDS. He has given me permission to type it out and put it onto my web page, so look out for it in the next 2-3 days.

I also saw some of the choir members as well, and they confirmed that they would be singing live on TV tomorrow morning on SABC3's MORNING LIVE! The show, from 0600 to 0800 is to be broadcast from the Drakenstein Correction Centre (used to be Victor Verster), where our former President, Nelson Mandela, was eventually released from imprisonment. THe Goodwood Prison Choir and their jazz band have been invited to take part. It's quite a privilege.  They're going to have to get up very early tomorrow morning for breakfast and then to be processed and bussed to Drakenstein. I help their choir master in training and encouraging the choir, so I am very proud that they have been invited to take part. I was also one of the founding members of the choir when I was in prison.
