I
tried to phone Mr. Springveldt to find out if there was choir practice
this morning. I had tried during yeterday as well, but the phone just
rang. So I had to presume there was no practice this morning. So I
started off the morning by doing some work on my CMMS project.
At 10h00 I went through to the Church to practice on the organ for Sunday mornings service. I am to be playing from Sunday for the rest of the month. While I was playing, Ted (he and his wife do the admin of the Church) came and sat in the Church with his mug of tea to enjoy his tea-break listening to the organ! Then a lady came in to do the flowers. So I ended up by giving a recital! We all enjoyed it. I visited Willie and Graham for a lunch of sandwiches and a chat. Graham always checks my blood-pressure and it's nicely down to 130/80. It did get up to over 110 not long ago and it was getting worrying. I am trying out a natural remedy, PRESSURE-EEZE FORTE which seems to be helping. Now I just have to get my weight down (now at 90kg) and my sugar-levels (over 10) Wow! today was hot again. At least 30C. Poor Murdoch has been lying all day just under the window so he can get some of the breeze from under the curtains. Thank goodness it cools down here at night time. I still get to cuddle down under my duvet at night. W really need rain very badly. The dams are down to 53% and even with the water restrictions they're going down fast. We might get some rain on Monday. |
