Taking Ownership
- I grew up and developed within a racist society - therefore I am racist, and because an abusive sexist society was my role model - I learned to be sexist and abusive.
- I am powerless over just about everything, and there is almost nothing I am helpless over.
- I am a Homosexual Male, Recovering Alcoholic.
- The only hope for social change and improvement is through Healthy Dialogue, and learning to Listen and to Hear is the most challenging part of dialogue.
- In recovery I was loved untill I was well enough to love myself, and was taught that I could learn to do the same for others.
- It is only through Caring and Sharing that I have ever been able to grow, and move onward.
- Through Caring and Sharing I have received the Miracle of self healing, and the ability to walk with others trudging along the Long Road of Internal Growth and Recovery.
