Oie! I was able to stop by Sydney for 5 days while on my way to Singapore. Unfortunately, I arrived smack in the middle of their winter. They said it was the coldest winter in years with lows of 5 degrees C. This was tres uncomfortable staying at a place with no indoor heating! Expect to be frisked by customs once you arrive (not necessarily a bad thing if you saw the agent who served me, "Ah, excuse me officer, are you sure you're finished with me?") I had a fun time even though I only visited the Sydney area. The people here were really friendly! I really missed hearing the dialect once I left though…"Yeeaah!"

 

An architectural masterpiece! Designed by a Danish architect who supposedly got the idea from sliced orange peels! I got the tour but waited and missed the performance before leaving for Singapore! Sob!
