I started painting my toenails a couple years ago. I think this is a fun trend for guys...at least those not afraid of something a bit different. Since I started wearing it, I've seen a bunch of guys joining in. Could it be coincidence, or am I a trendsetter? Either way, it's a blast! Take a look and let me know what you think.

CANDY MAN CAN!

At first, I started out only buying Candy Man colors--the name somehow justified me wearing it. Hard Candy manufactures it and specifically markets it for guys. It's a bit pricy, but it looks good! These colors are all dark, metallic and masculine. The first three colors I bought--Testosterone, Superman and Libido--are still my favorites.

For the fellas, they also make Gigolo (metallic black), Dog (dark metallic purple), Oedipus (dark forest green), and Cowboy (gold) in the Candy Man line. HC has suspended sales of the Candy Man line, but I've heard it will return--possibly with more colors. Check out some of the colors on me by clicking on the polish name.

HARD CANDY--TASTY!

I've since branched out into the other Hard Candy colors (and there are a bunch), and I can get them at a relatively cheap price by shopping on EBAY. Who cares if the product is marketed for males? When people at Wal-Mart look at my feet, they don't say "That must be mens nail polish that guy's wearing."

I'm not saying that HC products are the only ones I'd wear, but I do like them. They seem to endure and look good longer. Maybe they'll send me something for the generous plug?

Some of my favorite HC colors are Ghetto Girl (silver with a hint of purple), Manic (brilliant blue), Vegas (bold bronze), Pea Soup (light, shiny pea green), Haze (light, metallic purple), Awol (dark green) and Vice (light, metallic blue). I'm sure I'll be adding other colors to my rainbow soon--check back.
