Joelene is a thirty something transgifted person. I used the term transgifted because I feel that being transgendered is a gift rather than a curse as some people look at it. Although being a transgendered individual is difficult at times it does have many advantages. I dress usually once a month to go to a Renaissance Meeting. I wish it could be more but full dress is a lot of work and time just doesn't permit it. I am a Graphic Designer by trade, My mother was wishing the whole time she carried me that I would be a girl, (Little doess she know) I have struggled with this since age 6, wanting to wear dresses like the girls did at school. The female name I use was the name of the most beautiful girl in my six grade class. I will never forget her, I used to dream that I would one day wake-up and I would be her!
