Sailing
in Geneva, Switzerland - July 1999
In July, 1999, I was visiting my friends Chris
and Tina (seen in the pictures) who were doing an internship at the World
Health Organization in Geneva. We went sailing one day. Great winds, great
boat. Great fun.

A nice shot of another boat (and some
distractingly fouled jib sheets).
|
The Geneva shore line. (Notice the blue
main sheet.)
|
Chris and Tina, their first time sailing.
Chris fell overboard about 30 seconds after this picture was taken.
|
Tina and me with a huge water spout (man-made)
in the background.
|
Chris at the helm, me being lazy crew.
Notice the main sheets (blue) and the back stay.
|
Beautiful sky, beautiful sails. For the
record, I was not allowed to rig the boat and take no responsibility
for the halyard cleat.
|
Chris, beautiful sky. Notice the main
sheet and how close his head is to the boom.
|
At the helm.
|
Arrrrggg! Prepare to be boarded!
|
Stoic Chris.
