A SPECIAL farewell edition of Absolutely Fabulous will lead a £21million drive by the BBC to "put the laughs back into Britain".

Jennifer Saunders (above with co-star Joanna Lumley) has written one last episode to be shown in the autumn, featuring Edina and Patsy on the ski slopes. "There's just one problem," said Saunders. "Can I get Patsy sober for long enough to make a 60-minute programme?"
