MICHELLE LYNN'S GARDEN
My Tribute to Jethro Tull
"Wondering aloud ... how we feel today. Last night set the sunset ... my hand in her hair. We are our own saviours ... as we start both our hearts beating life ... into each other. Wondering aloud ... will the years treat us well. As she floats in the kitchen ... I'm tasting the smell ... of toast as the butter runs ... then she comes spilling crumbs on the bed ... and I shake my head. And it's only the giving that makes you what you are."

DISCOGRAPHY
I have been a devoted fan of Jethro Tull since 1974 upon the release of the Warchild LP ... you know, the one with Bungle in the Jungle on it. I saw Tull in concert at that time as well and immediately became hooked. Soon I was gobbling up all the Tull albums I could find. To this day I have seen Tull live in concert in excess of 25 times. I am fascinated by the pretty and unique sounds and the beautiful melodies of their songs. Some of you may only be familiar with the Aqualung LP. This recording is rather unlike most of Tull's work in that it is very hard driving and has a heavy sound. Most of Tull's recordings have an old english or Scottish quality, are very melodic, and in fact are quite soothing to listen to. Jethro Tull came into exsistance in 1968. Tull's music has shown drastic changes through the years. Early music of the late 60's had a decidedly blusey quality while their music of today has a refined classical tone. Much of Tull's music of the mid 70's through the mid 80's had an old English or Elizibethian quality. Tull is most well known for the incorporation the the flute, quite unique within most rock and roll music. Incidently, there is no person in this band named Jethro Tull. The leader, singer, songwriter, and flute/acoustic guitar player is Ian Anderson. Below are some midis of a few Tull recordings. Most of these are of very high quality and I think you may enjoy them.   ENJOY!!!!!
"Tiptoes in silence ... 'round my bed ... and quiets the rain drops ... overhead. With her everlasting smile ... she stills my fever for a while. Oh Nursie Dear ... I'm glad you're here ... to brush away my pain."
